Making the headboard
This article is about a queen size bed I built from construction lumber.
There is more art to making a great meal out of a cheap cut of meat than there is starting with a premium cut of meat. Similarly, I think its more of a challenge and an art to use cheap construction lumber to make nice looking furniture.
I feel similarly about making furniture. Plus, its much less stressful to use inexpensive lumber, as any mistake will be much less costly than it would be with premium quality lumber.
