The "Router Copy Carver," as it's called, is made to help keep the power tool
under control. The templates are traced by hand.
This controller took roughly 5 total hours.
As helpful as the Carver is, it's still quite imperfect...
...and requires considerable skill on behalf of the user. As seen in the following images, great care must be taken while carving any details, or they just won't look right in the end.
